hi my partner had a large blood blister on the side of his tongue a few weeks ago that he popped and it turned into an ulcer which lasted over a week the doctor sent him to the hospital to get it checked 2 weeks later by then it had disappeared but on looking the specialist noticed a white area under his tongue and he had to have a biopsy in the next few weeks. Since then he has been having blood blisters popping up every few days on the same side of the tongue as the other lesions. I am so worried that it is tongue cancer.

Tongue cancers don't present as blood blisters popping up every few days. It could be that he is nipping his cheek on that side (because of worry ?). Let us know how the biopsy of the 'white area' goes.
Best wishes for the New Year
Thanks for the reply Vinod. The blisters were always on the lateral tongue not the cheek. He is due to go for the biopsy next week . He is also had an irritated throat needing to clear his throat a lot due to phlegm he sometimes says it feels like he has something stuck in his throat that’s definitely cancer isn’t it? I’m petrified.
My partners biopsy was today as the white area hasn’t gone away and the the specialist says its in an area where there is not likely to suffer from trauma. I’m so so scared it’s cancer
Hey Worriedpartner, its understandable that you worry, do let us know when you get the biopsy results and I wish your partner and you a healthy outcome. Take care
How long does it take to get biopsy results back ?
I think mine was about three weeks.
