Hey all. Newbie. If you'll visit my profile you'll see I have a picture of a white spot on the side of my tongue. It's been there since November when I also had oral thrush. It hasn't grown, doesn't hurt, doesn't bleed and isn't hard to touch. Though I'm concerned that it simply hasn't gone away and I've been a smoker for 6 years. Can someone please help?

That’s how my cancer presented. White bumps on the inside of my left cheek. It was diagnosed as thrush. Then, it was diagnosed as oral lichen planus, and then gingivitis. All this while, a tumor was growing in my gum. It didn’t hurt and you couldn’t see it. I just knew the bumps, the spots and the bleeding gums weren’t normal. Insist on a biopsy! By the time I had a biopsy I had a 3 cm tumor that had begun to penetrate my jaw bone. It was stage 4.
