Hi, sorry if I’ve done anything wrong making my post! First post on here. Was looking for some advice/piece of mind here. I’ve made a doctors appointment and am waiting for it, just like to say that in advance. Not sure how I noticed this as I dont feel any pain or anything but is this normal? I’ve noticed this under my tongue. Looks swollen to me but don’t know if it’s just normal. I have pretty bad anxiety so worry a lot about even the smallest of things, a friend of mine who works at the doctors told me it looks fine and not to worry, but I’m not convinced. https://www.dropbox.com/s/ea3g...8%2037%2012.jpg?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/osnm...8%2037%2009.jpg?dl=0

Hi Shaun

I first noticed something wrong when it was uncomfortable if I bumped my tongue with my toothbrush.

"Don't worry" is meant to have a calming effect. For a lot of us, though, it's about as useful as saying "don't breathe" (I count myself in that group).

You know better than anyone if there's something wrong with you, so you're doing the right thing by going to the doctor. If it's cancer, but caught and taken care of early, it's not always bad. If it's not cancer, heave a sigh of relief and have a party.

Let us know how things turn out.
