Hi, I have a small bump on the roof of my mouth near the back that seems to have just suddenly appeared. It sticks out and my tongue brushes against it every time I move it. Does anyone know what this could be? It looks clear or flesh tone and that if I were to stick it with something sharp it would pop. I had another bump near the back of the roof of mouth a few weeks ago. But it was under the skin and it almost felt hard and pea sized.

Hello Endless

It could be a small salivary mucous retention cyst. they can be large or small and can also occur in the soft palate where minor salivary glands are also found, but please see you dentist for a definitive diagnosis.

Let us know what you dentist says.
