Hi

I had surgery to remove a tumour on my lower palette last year. It also involved removing one of the salivary ducts. Since then I have bilateral blocked salivary glands resulting in a dry mouth. My tongue is also affected. I only have sensation in half of my tongue. My mouth breaks out in sores and actually there hasn’t been a sore free week since my surgery. I carry water with me every where I go. I now have enlarged lymph nodes in my neck and had a MRI at Guys Hospital on Saturday. It’s harsh isn’t it.

I feel your pain. Good luck with your on going treatment xx
