Hi littlerosie,

Thank you SO much for that information. I now sort of understand what is happening with me. The so called 'experts' have been telling me that it is all neurological..... However, at least I have been doing what seems to be the right thing (for me anyway) in visiting the Chiropractor, who works on neck, jaw muscles and jaw alignment. This does help - the treatment can make things a bit sore, but the end result is worth it. And I do neck exercises, masseter muscle massage together with jaw and tongue exercises. It is the tongue which is the most worrying as my speech really is becoming slurred (no, I don't touch a drop of alcohol - promise!) but I continue to try to stretch it as much as possible. However, it does get less and less mobile and I used to be able to 'stick my tongue out' - I can't now. Can't even be rude! Neither does swallowing improve and I am certainly not swallowing as well as I was a year ago.

This is just one other thing 'they didn't tell me'!

Life's a bitch - then it has puppies.
