I had this posted in the Specal Mention forum earlier today (12-29) but was nudged by Pete228 to post it here. He's right as this is the correct place for this sad announcement.

I've been concerned about Pam (momoftwoboys) and looked up Kentucky obituaries a few minutes ago. I googled her name to make sure I have the right Pam and there were several references, including fund raisers specifically for her and her family, describing her oral cancer.

Pamela Tiffany Webb Cain, age 33, passed away on Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at her residence in Union, KY. Connley Brothers Funeral Home in Latonia, KY serving the family.

When the full obituary is published I'll add it.

This was her last message to us on December 15th: "dr signed me up for hospice today, No radiation left to try and no chemo trials, this last one should not have done. Now to be comfortable and enjoy my self."

You can view Pam's family pix in the Member's Albums forum.

Dear, dear, sweet Pam, Mom of Two Boys. Rest in peace, my friend.

Original Post
This is such sad news. When my mom was newly diagnosed Pam was such a great source of support to me, always there backing me up.

RIP Pam you were loved by many.
What tragic news. Another beautiful young person taken from the family she loved so dearly far too early. Life is so unfair. My deepest sympathy to her husband and lovely boys.

Pam rest in peace. I will always be inspired by the brave yet cheerful approach you took to battling this horrific disease. You will be very missed.

oh no.... what terrible news.
I'm so sorry for all of you that 'knew' her well. I didn't know her at all really, but am truely saddened.
hugs to all.
Here's the obit from the Kentucky Enquirer.

Pamela Cain

There is a Guestbook on the site where you can express condolences. It would be nice for her family to know that she had friends all over the world.

I'd been wondering about Pam since her post about hospice. My condolences to her husband and her sons.

Thanks for the new, Mimi.
Have just arrived home from holidays to this sad news.
A kind and generous lady, taken too soon.
RIP Pam. Suffering no more.
Thanks for keeping us all posted, Mimi.

So saddened by the tragic news of Pam's death. I haven't been on here in a while, and was shocked to read of her passing, for she had such a great outlook from doctors at the start of her battle with tongue cancer. She was a true fighter!

With deepest sympathy,
I somehow missed this last time I came on, such sad sad news. Gutted for Pams family and friends. May she rest in peace.

I would like to Thank any and all members of this message board who helped my little Sis in anyway they could , support to her , kind words , or things she could try , and If she helped anyone it would be great to know, My family is deeply hurt by Pam's loss, her smile is what made us all happy , we lost our mother in 2001 , I thought that was the only time I would have to say WHY for a longtime in my life . and now I am saying it again, I spend a big part of my life helping raise Pam and my other sister Nikki , due to the fact of our father not being around much, I have lost a sister and also like a Daughter to me, It hurts me deeply and will take a long time to adjust to not having her around, but as I have read her posts and knew how strong she was, it has helped me to be strong for our family and continue to hold us all together as she would want me too ! I know she is not in any pain anymore and is With our mother . and our Angel watching over her Hushand , 2 little boys and the rest of the Family.
My future plans are to start a Cain trust fund for the boys , she wanted them both to go to collage , and I want to help that happen in Her name .
Again thank you all so much for being a Friend to my Loved Little Sister .

If you would like to contact me , or want any info please email me at: fordnut02@aol.com
Thanks for your time Gene Webb

Brother of mom of two boys
Pam was the bravest, most inspirational person I have ever come across in my life. It is so unfair that this cruel disease has finally beaten her. My love and thoughts go out to all her family, and may Pam now Rest in Peace xxxx

I knew Pam when we were in High School at Scott. She was my school sweatheart. I knew her when they all lived in Taylor Mill. OMG!!!!
