Cancer of the tonsil 2007. Today I was told that I could be facing a potential extraction of a top wisdom tooth on the side where I had radiotherapy because I have a cavity, which they have tried filling, but it has not been successful. Sutton Marsden previously advised I would need to have any extractions done under special conditions. Does anybody know any way of avoiding this? There's no disease at the present. I saw something about Colgate Stop Gel in another post. Has anybody had any experience of it.

Never heard of Colgate Stop Gel.
Since my radiotherapy (11 years ago) I've had one extraction out of the R-T area without a problem. Currently I'm having root canal work done in the R-T area to avoid an extraction.
Good luck, please let us know how you get on.
