Hi Everyone,
Today I found a bump that looks exactly like a pimple on the inside of my left cheek. It has a "head" and everything. It's right where my teeth touch my cheek and it's been bothering me.
Any ideas of what it could be and what I can do to make it go away?
Thanks,
Paola

Hi Paola

I know it's tempting, but try not to pop it--you could spread any infection that might be in it, or possibly cause it to become infected (the mouth ain't exactly the cleanest place, and germs just love open wounds).

Beyond that, the best suggestion I can give you is to see your doctor or dentist. It could be the spot where a rough tooth rubs your cheek, or you might have accidentally bitten your cheek.

Please let us know how things turn out.

Thanks for the kind answers... it's gone Red Face)
I had a cousin who died of mouth cancer and lots of other family members who had some form or another. I get a little edgy when I find "weird" things on my body.
Thanks so much,
Paola
