Dear friends,
I want to sahre with you the news that after five years of chirurgical intervention and permanent control, yesterday my doctor has declared me cancer free. I must have controls a year from now, but I feel greatly relieved. For those who don´t know me, I had had a tongue cancer.
Thank you for the support this Forum has provided me. I hope to be able to help other members too.

Thanks a lot, Julia and Shirl. There have been a lot of changes in my life during these five years. After overcoming the operation and the three ulterior months without speaking nor eating solid foods, I had to make some adjustments in my life. I decided to give more importance to personal bonds and less time to work. I started to paint (I ´ve made a couple of exhibitions of my oils and collages) and to travel not only for work but also for pleasure. My tongue has always the odd shape of an askewed leaf, but I can use it perfectly, and my face and smile have recovered their original shape. I know there´s always a risk for recurrence, but I´m alive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hugs from Buenos Aires
