Hi!

I am new to this forum. My husband  had salivary gland cancer seven years ago. He had surgery and radiation. In the last two years his teeth have totally rotted. He has followed every guideline we were told regarding his teeth, but his teeth are cracking, breaking, have cavities and look horrible. We have struggled to keep up with the expense. We have invested at least twenty thousand dollars into his teeth at this point and have many more issues to deal with. My question is how do you pay for your dental bills? We have dental insurance, but that barely scratches the debt we are going to face in the future. Your thoughts and suggestions will be appreciated.

Dr should have told on the consequences. I thought ppl on chemo or radiation for oral cancer would usually extract all of the teeth before the treatment itself, to prevent etc issues including pain.  I am not a patient nor am I aware of oral cancer treatment, so I am just quoting what I heard online
