First of all, I hope it is not disrespectful to ask such a question on this forum and wish all the strenght to the people who have been diagnosed with oral cancer.

Two weeks ago, I could feel this soft lump under my tongue. It was a clear bump, and shrank a little but a few days later, when I had totally forgotten about it, it was there again. A day later it shrank, and then it returned. Now it's been like this for the last few days (I have attatched a picture containing the lump). It is not painful and it feels more like a nuisance than a problem, and since it hasn't been three weeks, I will give it another one to go away, and, if it's still there, I will arrange a meeting with my dentist, but could someone just take a look at it and say if it looks dangerous. I don't like the idea it has been there for so long and the whitish colour but since it feels like a soft sack and is not an ulcer, I want to give it some time to resolve itself.
Thank you in advance and God bless!

Hello bm

From your photos and history, it looks like a swollen duct opening. It is not possible to make a diagnosis over the Internet. Please see your dentist for a proper diagnosis. Let us know how you get on.

Best wishes
