No, you should not lie to your patient.The reasons why, you found out anyway.In my late husbands case 'the head and neck Macmillan professional, wanted to rule a recurrence out and waited until my husband died.'The Lymphedema wasn't treated and none referral got offered.And also the Doctor lied about the DNAR and acted so called and decided it was the best interests for my husband/ patient .Also the doctor signed this document and did say that I was informed about that DNAR, which I truly can say I wasn't.Again the doctor 'wrote down, that my husband didn't wanted to see on this incident morning he died, but again it's not true.In fact, all doctors and nurses should not lie, to say it's the best interest for their patients and patients close family.Kind regards u ankereilly@gmail.com
