  • Feeling vaguely unwell (33%)
  • Swelling on tongue (25%)
  • Difficulty swallowing (25%)
  • Difficulty talking (17%)


The delay before you were referred to a specialist after you noticed 'something not right':
  • within 2 weeks (25%)
  • between 2 - 4 weeks (8%)
  • between 5 - 8 weeks (8%)
  • between 2 - 4 months (17%)
  • more than 4 months (42%)
Only 33% were referred with 1 month!
